This week we have been working hard to complete our dilemma stories. These will be on display in our classroom. In the meantime, we thought you might like a taster of our stories...

Hi there!
Welcome to our Year 4 class blog. Here we will be keeping you up to date with what has been happening in Year 4. We've had a busy few weeks already and a fantastic start to the autumn term!
Last week we went to the UBS Community Games at Britannia Leisure Centre. It was great fun and we even came back with a trophy!
In literacy we have enjoyed using drama to explore dilemma stories (check them out on Youtube!) and we are now writing our own stories which will feature on our literacy display. We are also busy rehearsing for our class assembly next Tuesday.
In numeracy we have started to look at 2D shapes, making our own 'What Shape am I?' descriptions. It's also been a busy time in topic lessons; last week we went to Dalston market to explore our multicultural community and yesterday we began to create collages of the scenes we saw.
Year 4 Emerald pupils, what have you enjoyed most this week and why?
