It's been another great week in year 4!
We are now getting into our new topic, 'Tudor Britain', and have started learning about the Tudor family and the life of Henry VIII. In literacy we are learning about Stories set in Imaginary Worlds and in numeracy we have been doing lots of work on fractions.
Homework has been issued for next week and includes:
Spellings sheet
Fractions sheet (use the blank fraction wall to help you if you wish)
Literacy sheet
Topic task - find a picture or draw your own picture of a Tudor house
Enjoy the weekend!

Merry Christmas!
It's been a busy week in year 4 with rehearsals, our shows and our class party. We are now ready for the Christmas break and everyone should have maths, literacy and spellings homework. Remember that the maths booklet is made up of questions on topics we have done this term - try and do as much as you can. You do not have to complete it all!
Finally, please remember to bring your PE kits with you on the first week back - you will need them on Thursday 9th January and PE will now be on Thursdays.
Have a relaxing holiday!

Our Viking Information Texts
Take a look at our Viking webpage designs! We used our Viking information writing to design our own webpage using Activ Inspire software on the computers. We thought carefully about the layout of our webpage, the content we would include and it's features. We even included extra facts and hyperlinks! Here are some examples of our work...
Did you enjoy our 'Moving Britain' topic? What did you learn about Britain today? What did you learn about Britain in the past? Please share your thoughts here.
Christmas party!
On Thursday we will be having our Emerald Class Christmas party - we can't wait!
Don't forget to bring in a some food to share!
